I purchased these as an update and it did only that. I was running a couple of Boss 6x9 that was evaluated at 100rms. I know right lol. In my update I've supplanted my whole framework w all Boss sound. From The Head Unit the distance down to the wires. These do hit hard for 6x9's nearly have you to think they are 10" subs. I do recommend utilizing 16-12ga wire as the ordinary 18ga wire utilized when introducing reseller's exchange speakers. The speaker wire that comes stock w these speakers no doubts simply junk. From taking a gander at the wires (fragile and shaky) You can strip the stock wires w/o a wire stripping apparatus. I ran them first and made the speakers seem like a modest radio when you turn the volume over 15. I thought these cant be waste. The look and outline of these speakers a well put. The magnets are enormous and may require some manufacture work done to make them fit. I make them keep running from a Boss CE702 spanned at 300 rms. I figure these speakers can deal with a 1000w amp would prefer not to push excessively they're just 6x9's yet influence you to think from the sound they are 10" subs. I can turn my bass nob down on my CE3800D hurried to my 12's and still hear some great sub sound from these 6X9's the point at which I simply need ride w/o irritating others. The cost isn't awful for the nature of speaker you get I would have anticipated that would pay more. In all can't turn out badly these are better than average speakers.
